Custom Items

Please make sure that all spelling and grammar is checked on personalised orders and is correct at the time of checkout and again on your order confirmation email. If there are any mistakes visible please contact us asap within 24 hours so we can make the amendments to your order.

Please note all sizes given are approximate as clay shrinks during the drying and firing process.

Custom orders have a production time frame which is displayed on the main shop front page tab, please note this does not include delivery times.

Ceramic custom products that are made to order may vary slightly from the image pictured on the website, so no two will be exactly alike and there may be a slight variation in colours and shading.

Where possible we would love to display any new commissions on our website and offer your design as an option to other customers. 

Payment and Pricing

Pricing for products is clearly visible on the product pages. Payment is due immediately upon purchase via Paypal or using a debit or credit card. We do not store any information relating to your bank account, credit or debit card or paypal account. When you make a payment the payment is processed on our behalf by PAYPAL or NOCHEX. Paypal use encryption to safeguard your credit card information.

Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.  Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced.  We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you.  If a Product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. 

We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

Postage 

All our items are individually calculated for postage dependent on their weight and price banded accordingly to give you the best price we can. We use the Royal Mail services for all our postage. All calculations for postage are clearly visible on the delivery and checkout page.

UK Orders: Expected delivery time is 3 - 5 working days from your item being dispatched.

Overseas Orders: Expected delivery time varies from country to country, but please allow 9-14 working days once your order has been dispatched. This may be longer at seasonal times.

Any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only. We make every effort to dispatch goods on time, but we do not accept liability for failure to deliver within the stated time.

We do not accept liability for shortages or damage to deliveries unless you notify us of the shortage or damage in writing within 7 days of receipt of the delivery.

You as the customer have to accept the goods when they are ready for delivery.

Delivery is deemed to have taken place when the goods are delivered to your nominated address, whereupon the risks of loss, breakage and all damage and all other risks shall pass to you.

Title of the goods does not pass to you until payment is received in full by Blue Fish Studios

You may request a Proof of Delivery, provided that this request is made in writing within 3 months of the date of delivery and we shall use reasonable endeavours to provide such proof. Thereafter, delivery shall be deemed to have been successfully completed.

DUTY AND TAXES:
In some countries, buyers are subjected to customs taxes and duties on items shipped from international locations. We are in no way responsible for these taxes and duties, being them complete responsibility of the buyer. Please check with your countries polices before purchase.

 

Returns and Cancellation Policy

We hope that you will be 100% happy with your order from us. If for any reason, however, you wish to return an item please do so, and within 14 working days of receiving it. This excludes personalised and custom made items. We would suggest by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, so you have proof of postage and trackable information. Then, provided the item is in the same condition as sent we will issue a refund (minus any postage costs)

The cost of the return delivery is not refundable. We will then re- credit or refund you through your payment option within 30 days. Any faulty or damaged items will be exchanged for a new product or refund. Please provide photo proof of damage and the original packaging damage upon receipt of the products and within 7 days to allows us to process a refund or replacement. Damaged products will not be refunded without proof of the damage. A returns form print out can be found below. If you do not have access to a printer please ensure the details on the form below are provided when returning your item.

You as the consumer also have the right to cancel an order within 14 working days of purchasing the product from the website, this excludes personalised items. Please do so via writing or email us through our contact page. We cannot accept cancellations over the telephone.

Data Protection Act

Blue Fish Studios will never pass your details on to a third party for marketing purposes. We simply collect your information to retain contact with you about your purchase.
