This beautiful Alice in Wonderland cuckoo style clock comes complete with a swinging white rabbit pendulum. Including the Cheshire Cat, Alice, Mad Hatter's Hat, March Hair and Mouse. Plus painting the roses red, tea party features and the caterpillar smoking his hookah!

All individually hand sculpted and painted so each clock made is completely unique to you!

►The clock has gold hands and a quartz movement that takes 1 x AA battery (not included) and is ready to hang.
►Sculpted from ceramic stoneware and fired above 1200 degrees
►Dimensions approx - 16 inches tall including pendulum, Depth - 3.5 inches from wall.

MY PROCESS

I hand sculpt all of my pieces from ceramic stoneware clay. Either via coiling or slab building techniques.
Each piece is then dried until leather hard and the clay can be worked on and details added. Further controlled drying takes place to ensure a piece doesn't crack and all the moisture has evaporated.
A first 6 hour kiln firing takes place up to 1000 degrees C then cooled down so decoration such as oxides, underglazes and glazes can be added. A second firing over 8 hours is then done up to 1220 degrees C and finally once cooled I finish many of my pieces by hand painting a cold finish such as acrylics and lustre.

Each piece is carefully constructed and decorated making each one completely unique to you!
